chapter four

The stars travel through water, shimmering around ancient grinding stones. As they enter Fitzgerald they can feel the grief of the past. They flow through the streams and springs until they dissolve into the water and enter the humans, plants and animals. The grief transforms to hope. An emu drinks the water and the stars enter her.
