Melissa Drummond is a Kalgoorlie-based photographer, who has worked throughout the Goldfields for over a decade. Primarily a documentary photographer, Melissa works with a diverse range of clients, including many in the arts and culture arena where she has been fortunate to meet a lot of interesting and talented people. She combines this work with her other job as a geologist, deployed in a range of roles including remote field work, project management and community engagement.
Melissa has been involved with collaborative projects, collective exhibitions and group shows, both locally and interstate, and is an amateur musician, playing guitar in a traditional Irish and folk music group. She is also on the committee of Artgold, Kalgoorlie’s peak arts and culture group.
